Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Custom Tin Boxes. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, products, services, and ordering process. By visiting our website, requesting a quote, placing an order, submitting artwork, or purchasing products from us, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

About Custom Tin Boxes

Our services may include custom tin boxes, printed tin packaging, customized sizes and shapes, custom artwork, branding, finishing options, prototypes, samples, production, and shipping services.

Product specifications, available materials, printing methods, finishes, quantities, pricing, production timelines, and shipping options may vary depending on the requirements of each order.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law. When you submit an order, quote request, artwork, payment, or other information for the purpose of purchasing our products or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Custom Tin Boxes reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes become effective when published on this page. Customers should review the Terms and Conditions before placing subsequent orders.

Website Information and Product Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, images, colors, specifications, and other information displayed on our website are accurate. However, photographs, digital mockups, screen displays, and printed samples may not represent the exact appearance of the final manufactured product. Minor variations may occur because of differences in monitors, printing processes, materials, production equipment, manufacturing tolerances, lighting, and finishing techniques. Custom products may also require reasonable manufacturing tolerances in dimensions, color, placement, material thickness, and other physical characteristics.

Custom Orders

Because our products can be manufactured according to customer specifications, customers are responsible for providing accurate information before production begins. Once an order has entered production, modifications may not be possible. Any requested changes after production approval may result in additional costs, delays, or cancellation charges. Custom Tin Boxes is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer. This may include:

  • Product dimensions
  • Tin shape and style
  • Quantity
  • Printing requirements
  • Artwork
  • Logos
  • Text
  • Colors
  • Finishing requirements
  • Delivery information
  • Special production instructions

Artwork and Design Approval

Customers may provide their own artwork or request design assistance where available. Before production, customers may receive a digital proof, 3D mockup, flat artwork proof, or other representation of the proposed product. Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving all proofs before production. Approval confirms acceptance of the design, including spelling, grammar, dimensions, logos, artwork placement, colors, images, and other visual elements. After approval, Custom Tin Boxes is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof.

Intellectual Property and Customer Content

Customers retain ownership of intellectual property they lawfully provide to us, subject to any rights granted to Custom Tin Boxes for fulfilling an order. By submitting artwork, logos, photographs, designs, trademarks, or other content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and reproduce that material. You authorize Custom Tin Boxes to use submitted content solely as reasonably necessary to manufacture, fulfill, package, market, or otherwise complete your order, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that submitted content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other intellectual property rights belonging to another party.

Pricing and Quotes

Prices displayed on our website or provided through a quote request may change without notice. Custom-order pricing may depend on factors such as:

  • Product dimensions
  • Tin material and construction
  • Quantity
  • Printing requirements
  • Finishing
  • Custom tooling
  • Artwork requirements
  • Sampling
  • Production specifications
  • Shipping destination
  • Shipping method

A quotation does not necessarily constitute a final order until accepted by the customer and confirmed by Custom Tin Boxes. Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotes may be subject to expiration.

Payment

Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment information and paying all amounts due for an order. Production may not begin until required payment or deposit requirements have been satisfied.

Custom Tin Boxes may use third-party payment processors to process transactions. By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction according to its terms. If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise not successfully completed, we may suspend production or fulfillment until the outstanding amount is resolved.

Production and Turnaround Time

Production timelines vary according to product specifications, quantity, artwork approval, tooling requirements, sampling, order volume, and manufacturing capacity. Any production timeframe provided by Custom Tin Boxes is an estimated timeframe unless expressly identified as a guaranteed deadline in a written agreement.

Production time generally begins after all required information, artwork approvals, payments, and production requirements have been completed. Delays may occur because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including supplier interruptions, manufacturing issues, transportation disruptions, severe weather, natural disasters, labor interruptions, governmental restrictions, or other force majeure events.

Samples, Prototypes, and Proofs

Where available, customers may request physical samples, prototypes, or digital proofs before placing or approving a production order. Samples and prototypes may involve additional charges. A prototype may differ slightly from the final production run because manufacturing at commercial quantities can involve different production processes and tolerances. Unless otherwise agreed, approval of a sample or proof authorizes production according to the approved specifications.

Manufacturing Variations

Custom manufactured products may contain reasonable variations in color, dimensions, printing registration, material thickness, surface appearance, and finishing. Such variations can result from the characteristics of metal substrates, printing technologies, coating processes, production equipment, and manufacturing tolerances.

A minor variation that does not materially affect the functionality, appearance, or intended use of the product may not constitute a manufacturing defect.

Where a material manufacturing defect occurs, customers should contact us promptly with order details and supporting photographs or documentation.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping arrangements depend on the destination, order size, production schedule, carrier, and selected shipping method. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing. Once products are transferred to a third-party carrier, transportation delays may occur that are outside our direct control.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. Additional charges may apply when an incorrect or incomplete address causes a shipment to be returned, redirected, or re-delivered. Customers should inspect shipments promptly after delivery and notify us of visible damage or shortages as soon as reasonably possible.

Order Cancellation

Custom products are manufactured according to individual customer specifications and therefore may have limited cancellation rights. Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible. If production, tooling, printing, material procurement, or other fulfillment activities have already begun, cancellation may not be possible or may result in charges for costs already incurred. Any approved cancellation or refund will be handled according to the applicable order terms and our refund or return policy.

Returns and Refunds

Because custom tin boxes are manufactured specifically according to customer requirements, customized products may not be eligible for return simply because the customer changes their mind, selects an incorrect specification, or no longer requires the products.

If products arrive damaged, defective, materially incorrect, or substantially different from the approved specifications, customers should contact Custom Tin Boxes promptly. We may request photographs, videos, shipping documentation, order information, or other evidence to evaluate a claim. If a claim is approved, the available remedy may include replacement, re-production, credit, partial refund, or another appropriate resolution, depending on the circumstances.

Customer Responsibilities

Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may affect production, delivery, returns, refunds, or claims. Customers are responsible for:

  1. Providing accurate order information.
  2. Reviewing proofs carefully.
  3. Confirming dimensions and specifications.
  4. Providing legally authorized artwork.
  5. Maintaining accurate billing and shipping information.
  6. Making payments when due.
  7. Inspecting delivered products promptly.
  8. Notifying us of qualifying defects or shipping damage within a reasonable period.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, fire, flood, severe weather, transportation interruptions, supply shortages, manufacturing disruptions, labor disputes, governmental actions, war, civil unrest, power outages, telecommunications failures, pandemics, or other events that reasonably prevent or delay performance.

Your use of our website may also be governed by our Privacy Policy. Information submitted through quote forms, order forms, customer-service communications, or other website features may be processed as described in the applicable Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and governed by the applicable laws of the United States and the state in which Custom Tin Boxes is legally established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute shall be handled in accordance with applicable federal and state law and any applicable contractual dispute-resolution provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, while the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with applicable order confirmations, quotations, policies, and written agreements, constitute the applicable understanding between the customer and Custom Tin Boxes regarding the relevant transaction. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a separately signed written agreement, the signed agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.
